About
Product designer. I build interfaces with care for the details most people never notice: the easing on a hover, where a focus ring lands, how a component behaves the second time you reach for it.
Most of that thinking ends up in open source. I created and still maintain Eldora UI, an animated React component library that sits at 1,964 stars and 95 forks, which is also why I care so much about component APIs: you only find out a prop is wrong after a few thousand people depend on it.
Experience
- Design-engineering work across the TextCortex platform: the product interfaces and the developer tooling around their AI product.
- Build the front end where the design and the implementation are the same job, so the shipped thing matches the intent rather than approximating it.
Open source
- Started June 2024 because there were plenty of React component libraries and very few animated ones. 34 documented components and 17 prebuilt blocks, built on React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion.
- Ships as its own shadcn registry, so a component installs with npx shadcn@latest add @eldoraui/<name>. The CLI writes the source into the project instead of adding a dependency, which is what makes it useful to people whose designs look nothing like mine.
- Selected for Vercel’s Winter 2026 Open Source Program.
- An enhanced dialog component library built on Radix UI primitives, with multiple variants and motion handled properly rather than bolted on.
